International Laboratory Animal Technician Week January 31- February 6, 2021
This annual celebration recognizes laboratory animal technicians for their essential contributions as members of the research team. Every day of the year, these dedicated people provide the solid foundation of consistent animal husbandry, care and observation of animals necessary for quality research work and good science.
Please take this opportunity to celebrate the technicians who provide this key service.
Some ideas to promote this week that can be safely accomplished during the pandemic include:
–Ask investigators to provide a note of thanks that can be shared with the technicians.

–Provide treats, or certificates for a coffee or tea break
