Funding opportunities, missions and goals

ICLAS invites applications for financial support of up to €2,000 for events and other activities in laboratory animal science to be held in 2027.

New approaches and formats aligned with the ICLAS mission are particularly encouraged.

Who can apply?
Applications must be endorsed by an ICLAS member in good standing.

ICLAS Regional Committees work to engage countries in their region to participate in: the development of animal ethics bodies
the refinement of their animal care and use standards
training opportunities for individuals working in Laboratory Animal Science
networking and knowledge exchange opportunities within the region and internationally. Through their work, ICLAS Regional Committees support the overall ICLAS mission of advancing human and animal health by promoting the ethical care and use of laboratory animals in research worldwide.
