ICLAS Visiting Grant for Professional Development in LAS in Europe

The objective of the Grants is to enable recipients to acquire new knowledge and/or technical competences in the care and use of laboratory animals.This can be achieved in one of the host institutions proposed by ICLAS or in an institution proposed by the applicant.

The Grants are available to individuals belonging to European ICLAS member organisations (see list of ICLAS members here) or contact info@iclas.org if you are not sure). Applicants in European countires/areas in the process of developing modern standrads of animal care and use are particulalry welcomed.

Grants are awarded to people who want to develop and animal care or research role in the field of LAS (e.g. techincians, animal facility managers, animal welfare officers, veterinarians, or animal user scientits).

The deadline for submission of applications is March 8th 2024. The decision of the committee will be commmunicated by April 1st 2024 and the period of each training will be agreed with the host institution. THe grant will be available for one year from the date of the award.
