ICLAS Program Support Application – 2026

The International Council for Laboratory Animal Science (ICLAS) invites its members to submit proposals for financial support of programs and activities to be held in 2026.

πŸ’‘ ICLAS supports initiatives that benefit the widest possible audience in each region of the world:

  • Funding of up to €2000 is typically available for initiatives with local impact.

  • Larger requests may be considered for initiatives with regional or global impact.

Proposals must align with the ICLAS mission: to promote the ethical care and use of laboratory animals in research worldwide.

πŸ“‘ After completion of funded activities, a detailed report (including participants, geographical reach, outcomes, and use of ICLAS funds) must be submitted within 3 months.

Our mission

  • ICLAS Regional Committees work to engage countries in their region to participate in: the development of animal ethics bodies
  • the refinement of their animal care and use standards
  • training opportunities for individuals working in Laboratory Animal Science
  • networking and knowledge exchange opportunities within the region and internationally. Through their work, ICLAS Regional Committees support the overall ICLAS mission of advancing human and animal health by promoting the ethical care and use of laboratory animals in research worldwide.
