ICLAS Regional Program

Regional scientific meetings and courses are organized by laboratory animal science organizations in the various regions of the world under the auspices of the five ICLAS Regional Committees to ensure diffusion of scientific knowledge within all regions of the world.

Our mission

  • ICLAS Regional Committees work to engage countries in their region to participate in: the development of animal ethics bodies
  • the refinement of their animal care and use standards
  • training opportunities for individuals working in Laboratory Animal Science
  • networking and knowledge exchange opportunities within the region and internationally. Through their work, ICLAS Regional Committees support the overall ICLAS mission of advancing human and animal health by promoting the ethical care and use of laboratory animals in research worldwide.
