CIOMS-ICLAS International Guiding Principles for Biomedical Research Involving Animals
This revised and updated version of the 1985 Guiding Principles aim to reflect current best practices and standards of care in laboratory animal medicine and science. The 10 principles in this short document provide a framework of responsibility and oversight to ensure the appropriate use of animals. This document may also serve as a benchmark for advancing international collaboration in biomedical sciences.
